Haliaeetus vocifer
That ringing call is the sound of Africa's rivers. At Shakawe in Botswana we watched them swoop down, talons first, and lift fish straight out of the water.
Polemaetus bellicosus
Africa's largest eagle, with eyes that miss nothing. This one caught an agama and gave us a front-row seat while it finished its meal.
